What you need to know about your presentations and projects


You don't have to memorize anything. Just KNOW what you are talking about.
Would you like to know why?

Because when you are presenting, you emotional state shifts from calm to nervous, and sometimes you lose focus. When you realize this, you go back desperately trying to "memorize" your plan, and your panic increases when you find out that you actually don't have "enough time" to remember it all, relax, refocus, and talk! So, you feel more stressed.

At this moment, you have one of two options.
Either keep your stress level going up until you lose control and step down, or -- just do with what you remember!
You'll be astonished by the amount of information that will come to your mind then!

One more note, to all my students and clients everywhere:
Please, do not read! And if you really really have to, try to pause, look at the audience and explain - just for the sake of addressing them and not losing their attention.
